We finally arrived in Venice, which we had looked forward to our entire trip!
This is the first view we had of Venice from the top deck of the cruise ship.
We took a water taxi to St. Mark's Square.

We decided we couldn't leave Venice without a Gondola ride! ... and we could not have chosen a better gondolier!
After the Gondola ride, we walked through the streets of Venice admiring the buildings, canals, and gelato :)

Made it to the Rialto Bridge!
We ate some pizza and pasta at the restaurant along the Grand Canal, and watched the people and sights of Venice as the sun came down.
Love the tiny moon in this shot.
We stayed on the ship that night and packed up our suitcases. Thank goodness we still had one full day of Venice left!
