For those of you who know the Mabey family, we LOVE pets. Honestly, I can't even count how many we have had. We have had cats, dogs, fish, turtles, frogs, fish, hamsters, a duck, birds, you name it. We even were foster parents for several litters of newborn kittens and puppies. I really blame my mother for our love for pets, as we have all nicknamed her "Mother Nature". She once nursed a hummingbird back to health and also gave the heimlich maneuver to our duck.
Anyways, the point of all this is that I want a pet!! The only problem, Jordan does not :( I can live without a duck, or fish, or even a cat, but I am determined to have 2 Huskies. I think he is finally tired of me talking about my desire for 2 Huskies so he has given me one tough decision.... Either we have kids, or I get these 2 :)

So obviously, I will probably pick option A, have kids, but will cross my fingers they someday BEG Dad for a pet :)

I'm surprised you want pets...I thought you wouldn't get them b/c of their mess. I would love to have them too, and I'm sure our kids will have several just like we did. I'd go with option A for now.
And Jordan--why don't you want a pet? Just not now...or not ever? :(
haha. I wanted a dog SOOO bad until I had a baby. And now I'm so glad I don't have one. As much as I love dogs, I'm not getting one until my kids are old enough to help out.. or until we live in a house with a doggy door.
i would have chosen the dogs. those are dang cute. just sayin C:
naturally, i would be against dogs because i hate our's but... these are cute. but i still vote for kitties :)
CUTE puppies! Tell Jordan you can easily balance both.:) P.S. Keep the work stories coming. I die laughing!! Can't believe this happens!!
Go for the dog! Then have a kid in a couple years. Then the kid will be so in love with the dog Jordan won't have the heart to get rid of it.
Those are sooooo cute! I want one so bad too!
Yeah i agree with Mckayla....get the dog. You know kids are going to come either way! Pets really do make life better. They have done studies on it. Why do you think Primary Children's Hospital allows our golden retriever to go and visit all the sick kids? Because they are good for the soul! :)
