We had a great view from the top of the ship as we were pulling into the port in Istanbul.
This Istanbul band (?) greeted us off the ship!
First we went inside the Hagia Sophia. It formerly was an Orthodox basilica, later a mosque, and now a museum.
The Blue Mosque- this is the nickname of the mosque due to the blue tiles in the inside walls.
Showing off our new looks as we got ready to go into the mosque.
What an interesting experience to watch the people come in and pray. It would have been a little sweeter experience if everyone didn't have to take their shoes off ... dang it should have worn socks that day.
Shopping in the Grand Bazaar! What a crazy shopping place.
Jordan got a Turkish Bath! I had to stay behind so I could capture this photo :)
Yummm, we tried some Baklava in a small cafe by the Turkish Bath.
View of the Blue Mosque as we walked back to the cruise ship.
