Day 2: Barcelona, Spain

At the Barcelona airport, we hopped on the Renfi train and headed to downtown Barcelona. It dropped us off close to our hotel and we loved passing some amazing Spanish buildings on our way!

One of those buildings was the Casa Batllo by Gaudi.

We finally found our hotel! It was the perfect hotel for our 3 day pre-cruise trip.

After checking into the hotel, we took a stroll down Las Ramblas.  Las Ramblas is a tree lined street with restaurants and vendors selling items such as Gelato, flowers, and animals.

For lunch, we grabbed some baguette sandwiches which were amazing! The bread was so fresh.

We walked through Plaza Catalunya.

Walked passed the Gaudi building again, the most unique building I have ever seen!

Using our T10 pass, we took the metro to Placa d'Espanya.

After hiking up all those stairs, you get this view of the city!

This is part of the Olympic Stadium from the summer Olympic games held in 1992.

We hiked all the way up the hill to the castle on Montjuic!

Views from the castle.

We hiked back down and found a fun pizza place for dinner before the Montjuic Magic Fountain show.

After the show, we headed back to our hotel and finally got some sleep after being up for a few days!
