We also ran into the monkeys we had been seeing around our hotel, the Macaque monkey. These monkeys are not afraid of humans at all! This morning, I brought several tangerines in my purse. While we were walking on the beach, the monkey could smell them in my purse, jumped out of the tree to the beach, and jumped up to get one out of my purse!

Here is a mommy monkey with her baby. She usually had her baby wrapped under her belly, but you can see she is still holding onto its tail to make sure it doesn't go too far!
These monkeys raided this hotel's restaurant. The windows were just slightly open but the monkeys got inside. You could see them running up the stairs and could hear dishes breaking! They even found some coconuts in the trash bags!
We took one last stroll along the beach. This is the beach right outside our hotel.

We also swam to this island. There is a small beach on the west side, which you can see. It was a nice view of our resort!

Goodbye Railay Village Resort!
Next time, we are bringing less luggage :)

Here was our journey to get back home:
- Drag your luggage through the sand into a long tail boat. This also requires getting into knee deep water.
- Take a 15 minute long tail boat ride to Ao Nang.
- Drag your luggage through the sand up to the pier.
- Take a 30 minute taxi to the Krabi Airport.
- Take a 1 1/2 hour plane to Bangkok.
- 4 hour layover in Bangkok Airport.
- 14 hour plane to Los Angeles
But we would do it all again! We miss Thailand already and are definitely going back.
