I met up with Jordan in Thailand at the Bangkok Airport!
Jordan took this picture of Grace and I just coming off the plane. Can you see how excited we are to be done with the 18 hour flight!
We were ready to hit the town.

We first stopped by the temple Wat Pho, The Reclining Buddha.

Monks walking through the temples.

Somehow, they convinced me we would survive a Tuk-Tuk ride to the Grand Palace.
We crammed 4 people in this thing.
Once we got to the Grand Palace, we found out Jordan couldn't go in with his shorts, and I couldn't go in because my pants had holes in the knee. We had to rent these fancy little outfits :)
Once we bought our tickets, we saw that the line to get in was hours long! Chris was going to have none of that (it was his last day in Thailand and was flying back to LA) and found this local tour guide lady just outside the temple grounds. She agreed to get us to the front of the line and gave us the best tour through the palace!
Jordan, me, Grace, Joe, Chris, Shariar

Putting "gold" flakes on buddha. This gives you good luck for the year!

Magnum bars to keep us cool.
We attempted the Weekend Market. It was sooo bloody hot, and we just could't stand it so we didn't last very long. (Jordan and I ended up coming back the next day).

AMAZING architecture! I love how you had to rent an outfit to be appropriately dressed--the skirt makes for better pictures, and it's nice to be respectful! And the whole tour guide thing--very much like Dad.
