About 8 months ago, I bought 2 tickets to the San Diego Safari Park from Living Social. I thought for sure we would have one free weekend to drive down to San Diego and use them, but apparently we had a busy summer/fall this year! We ended up using them pretty much the day before they expired.

The gorillas were so fun to watch. Behind the dad, is a mom with her new baby.

This bird was so funny, just sat there and watched me take pictures of him.
The park is very well landscaped.

Cheetahs sleeping away the day. Apparently they sleep for 20 hours a day.
Loved the giraffes, they have always been my favorite animal! Did you know they only sleep for about 20 minutes a day? We learned this on our safari :)
First time I've ever seen a herd of giraffes just lying around.
They had a great elephant exhibit. We love elephants after our Thailand trip.

Love the park--and love how you chose the animal print scarf to match the occasion. So sad about the black rhinos though :(
Thank goodness for a good deal! I LOVE finding new places in Atlanta to eat with scoutmob... Love the pictures! And, happy anniversary tomorrow!
