The Regent Beverly Wilshire

Saturday night was the annual Arthritis Foundation, Commitment to a Cure Dinner and Awards night. Comerica Bank bought a table for the event so Jordan was invited to go. Luckily, he took me as his date :)

The event was held at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel on Rodeo Dr. in Beverly Hills. For those who have seen the movie "Pretty Woman", the hotel Richard Gere and Julia Roberts stay at, eat dinner in, etc. is the Regent Beverly Wilshire. It's a classy, 5 star hotel and we had a great night with the rich and famous!

Al Pacino was one of the guests being honored at the event as well as doctors and medical researchers trying to find a cure for Arthritis. To raise money for the foundation, they had a live auction. One of the items up for bid was 2 tickets to the "New Moon" Twilight Premiere on Monday, 2 tickets to the after party with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, a 2 night stay at this other Beverly Hills hotel, dinners and spa treatments. I wanted this one so bad so we decided we would bid up to $1,000 for it. Well the bid started off at $2,000, and sold at $4,500 so we never even got to bid :( So sad. That would have been a fun event!

Jordan & Yonie (his co-worker). Yonie drives limos on the weekend and always has interesting stories about the famous people he drives around. We were excited when we were sitting at the same table as him!

Al Pacino- He really did look as drunk in person as he does in these pictures I took. However, he told some hilarious stories and seemed like a nice guy :)
